Requirements
Age—11-12 years
Legally complete all four strokes
Able to do the following: Dive/Start from block; flip turn; legal finishes
Tight Streamlines
2-3 Dolphin Kicks off walls for Fly/Back; 1-2 Dolphin Kick off walls for Free
Able to maintain breathing patterns in Fly/Free
Compete regularly in meets
Show leadership skills; listen and be attentive to coaches
Great Attitude; Great Work Ethic; Great Teammate

Kick board
Fins
Buoy
Dryland
Swimmer participates in multiple sports/activities
Introduction to stretching, balance and coordination skills
Introduction to games that include skipping, hopping, jumping, throwing, crawling
Attendance and Participation
Although there is not an attendance requirement for this group, swimmers are encouraged to attend 2-3 practices per week.
Swimmers must participate in meets listed on the group’s schedule. Any swimmers who cannot attend a listed meet should communicate with the coach.
Swimmers are not allowed to participate in meets not listed on the meet schedule without coach approval.

Can perform legal turns
Has completed the USA Swimming dive progression
Knows backstroke stroke count and uses the backstroke flags
Consistently holds streamline and kicks 3 dolphin kicks
Understands IM order and performs IM transitions
Knows Drill Progressions
Swimmer and Parent Education
2-3 x group parent meetings per year
Intro to swimming educational sessions
Understands how to use SwimConnection/FastSwims
Introduced to the role of the parent, swimmer and coach for appropriate long-term athlete development
Character Development/Life Skills
Swimmer knows the name of training group above
Swimmer listens to the coach suggestions and tries to make changes
Swimmer can follow directions and gives coach attention during explanations
Swimmer involves self in team activities/cheering/support of teammates/TEAM PRIDE
